On 1st August Simran, Bhavika and Karen attended the Carer’s Event, where we hosted a stall to help promote Kingston Talking Therapies and our Employment Service. [...] Many carers experience increased levels of stress so our aim was to make carers aware of our service and how we may be able to support them with their mental health. [...] We were able to provide psychoeducation, answer questions and explain our referral process. It was a lovely opportunity to meet carers in the community but also to link up with other organisations. The event was a success, and we are looking forward to attending the next event on 3rd October. [...] It was a pleasure to join the NMWP in their efforts to break the stigma and demonstrate that mental health truly matters in our community. [...] The aim of this workshop was to highlight how stress can be present in an intensive healthcare role and what tools we can use to manage our wellbeing. [...] The aim of this workshop was to increase awareness of Kingston NHS Talking Therapies services, the support options available, whilst clarifying the processes for accessing Talking Therapies in Kingston. [...] The NHS pulmonary rehabilitation team and Kingston Talking Therapies are keen to build on this partnership to support our clients. We are pleased to be working in collaboration with JCP Kingston offering an introduction to the combined therapeutic and employment support available from our service.
