The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (adass) is a leading, independent voice of adult social care in England. It promotes higher standards of social care services and influence policies and decision-makers to transform the lives of people needing and providing care - so that all needing care and support can live the lives they want regardless of age, disability, status and social background. The membership is drawn from serving directors of adult social care employed by local authorities and their direct reports.
