The Raw Materials Information System (RMIS) is the EC’s reference knowledge por-tal on raw materials mandated to the JRC by the 2015 Circular Economy Action Plan. RMIS helps meet knowledge needs identified by EU policy, such as the 2024 Critical Raw Materials Act. \nWithin RMIS, the new EU 27 Country Profiles provide concise quantitative understanding of key aspects related to non-food, non-fuel raw materials (NFNFRMs) at country level.\nThese profiles facilitate availability and quality of country-level data and analyses needed to support EU policy, including for critical and strategic raw materials, in relation to competitiveness and sustainability.
