This report provides a summary of the main activities carried out by the WHO European Centre for Preparedness for Humanitarian and Health Emergencies in Istanbul, Türkiye, between 1 October 2022 and 30 September 2023. The Centre, established in September 2020 is aimed at assisting Member States to improve their emergency preparedness through the acceleration of implementation of the International Health Regulations (2005) core capacities. By building capacity and facilitating intergovernmental partnerships, the Centre will strengthen operational capabilities and readiness for responding to health emergencies and disasters at the Regional level
